About this product
Primo is Lumenwerx's recessed LED troffer platform, offered in 1x4 (12" grid) and 2x2 (24" grid) apertures. Its signature Concentric Micro-Prism Optic (CMO, in square or round pattern) and Precision Micro-Prism Optic (PMO) use a catadioptric acrylic lens whose square-base prism is 24% the size of a high-performance fluorescent lens, achieving greater than 90% optical efficiency and a glare cut-off at a 45-degree viewing angle (PMO) while presenting a subtle, graphical luminous appearance. Delivered output spans four factory-set packages -- 2000 lm (low), 3200 lm (medium), 4200 lm (high), and 5000 lm (ultra high) -- at 80 CRI, with a 90 CRI elevated-R9 option and 3 SDCM color consistency, in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K (5000 lm is not offered in 2700K). A custom linear array of mid-flux LEDs mounts directly to the die-formed steel housing for thermal performance; LM-80 testing shows L80 lumen maintenance greater than 60,000 hours. The universal-input (120-277V, 347V optional) driver dims 100-1% on 0-10V (NEMA 410 compliant), with Lutron Hi-lume 1% Eco and DALI options and an optional emergency battery pack delivering up to 1300 lumens for 90 minutes. Primo recesses into exposed or concealed tegular and t-bar grid ceilings or a separate drywall kit, and a tunable-white version and surface-mount version are available on separate spec sheets. ETL listed to UL 1598 and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0 for indoor dry/damp locations, City of Chicago (CCEA) approved, IC rated for direct contact with insulation, and backed by a five-year limited warranty.
