Rim is Lumenwerx's architectural-shapes pendant platform: a rolled, seamlessly welded aluminum extrusion (2 1/8" x 1" section) bent into decorative geometric luminaires suspended on power-over-aircraft cable. The standard Rim runs an LED array around the inside of its housing, illuminating inward through a Uniform Lambertian Optic (ULO) — a thermoformed impact-modified white PMMA lens with up to 88% transmission that yields a widespread 50% direct / 50% indirect distribution (spacing criteria 1.6). The Verso variants reverse the array to illuminate outward from the housing for wall-wash and perimeter effects. The family spans round, oval, rectangle, square, rounded-rectangle, rounded-square, triangle, hexagon, linear, and tube shapes, plus Rim Mini smaller forms, Rim Air vertically mounted rings, Rim Multiples (two-to-three combined smaller rings), and Rim Segments/Patterns. Rim Round alone offers eight standard sizes from Ø 24" to Ø 144", with nominal delivered output from 2000 to 24000 lumens and efficacy up to 95 lm/W. Light source is a custom array of mid-flux LEDs mounted directly to the housing for thermal performance, available in 2700/3000/3500/4000K at 90 CRI with elevated R9, held to 3 SDCM, with LM-80 L80 lumen maintenance beyond 60,000 hours. Chromawerx Sola, Duo (tunable white), and Quadro (RGBW) options are available. The factory-set adjustable-output driver takes universal 120-277V input (347V with the D1 driver) and dims 100-1% via 0-10V, with Lutron Hi-Lume 1% Eco, eldoLED 1% ECOdrive and 0.1% SOLOdrive, and DALI options, and is PoE compatible. Sections that ship in separate pieces are joined on site with pre-installed die-cast joiners. ETL listed for indoor dry/damp locations to UL 1598 and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0, and backed by a five-year limited warranty.
