About this product
Forma is Lumenwerx's family of decorative pendants built on a shared geometric language: the conical Caret, the truncated-cone Tote, and the hemispherical Cupola. All three carry Unity Pointed (UP) technology, which holds lens-brightness uniformity constant across every shape and size at a given lumen output. Caret and Cupola are offered as Direct pendants in 8-inch and 12-inch diameters; Tote adds a 24-inch diameter and, on its 12- and 24-inch sizes, an indirect uplight component (Direct/Indirect). The direct side uses the High-Efficiency Lambertian Optic (HLO) — a 0.1-inch thermoformed diffusing acrylic shield delivering up to 70% transmission with good source obscuration over matte-white reflectors — while Tote's indirect side uses the Translucent Indirect Optic (TIO) to mask pixelation. Delivered output (HLO direct, measured at 3500K/80 CRI) runs 500/700 lm at 8 inches, 800/1200/1600 lm at 12 inches, and 3200/4800/6400 lm at Tote's 24 inches, with efficacy published to roughly 152 lm/W on the largest size. LEDs are custom mid-flux arrays in 2700/3000/3500/4000K at 80, 90 (elevated R9, within 3 SDCM), or 95 CRI, tested to IESNA LM-80 with L80 lumen maintenance beyond 60,000 hours. Chromawerx color options add Sola single-channel dim-to-warm (3500K to 2200K), Duo two-channel tunable white (6500K to 2700K), optional full-spectrum LEDs to raise the Cyanosis Observation Index and support circadian strategies, BIOS SkyBlue biologically-optimized static and dynamic lighting, and solid red/green/blue coloration. Fixtures dim 100–1% on 0–10V as standard, with DALI, Lutron Hi-lume 1% Eco, eldoLED 1% ECOdrive and 0.1% SOLOdrive, ELV, and TRIAC driver options, universal 120–277V input, and PoE compatibility. Tote mounts on aircraft cable (standard or custom canopy, cable to 288 inches); Caret and Cupola hang on power cord or rigid stem. Standard finishes are textured matte white and textured matte black, with an extensive custom palette of neutrals, designer colors, and metallics plus any RAL. ETL listed (Intertek) to UL / CSA C22.2 for indoor dry locations; backed by a five-year limited warranty.
