Solace is Amerlux's complete 3" shallow downlight family for any ceiling surface and low plenum ceiling, in matching round and square apertures. One aperture carries three trims: the downlight (SOL-RD, with pinhole SOL-RPD and pinhole shower SOL-RPDSHW variants) at 8/12/17 W delivering 860, 1266 and 1623 lm; the adjustable (SOL-RA) at 8/12/17 W delivering 844, 1243 and 1593 lm; and the lens wall wash (SOL-RLW) at 8/12/17 W delivering 565, 831 and 1066 lm (all delivered lumens at 3000K, 83 CRI, flood optic). A die-cast reflector is offered in spot (15°), flood (25°), wide flood (36°) and very wide flood (55°) beam spreads, with an optional Solite beam-softening lens that widens the beam up to ~5°. LEDs come in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K at 83 CRI typical or 90+ CRI (with a 3000K Class A high-gamut option), 3-step MacAdam binning, rated for more than 70% of initial lumens at 50,000 hours. The extruded-aluminum, inherently-protected housing installs for new construction, insulated ceiling (IC), Chicago Plenum (CCEA) or IC/AT applications, trimmed, trimless or with millwork extension collars, in grid, sheetrock or millwork ceilings on included 26" hanger bars (optional HB49 bars extend to 49"). Dimming reaches 1% via 0–10V, 5% via TRIAC/ELV, and 0.1% via Lutron Hi-lume EcoSystem Premier with soft-on and fade-to-black on 120/277VAC input. CSA damp-location listed to UL 1598, wet-location rated with the shower trim, IC/AT rated and JA8 Title 24 compliant, backed by a five-year limited warranty.
