The E5X is Insight Lighting's high-performance exterior LED wall wash, engineered to throw a stunning asymmetric distribution across building façades and vertical surfaces. A precision-extruded aluminum housing with a high-density tempered-glass lens and standard injection-molded internal louver ships in 12", 24", 36", and 48" lengths across three output tiers — 4.0, 8.0, and 12.0 W/FT — driven by a remote power supply on universal 120–277V. A tested 48" fixture delivers 1,610 lm (16.5 W) at low output, 3,056 lm (32.1 W) at medium, and 4,490 lm (48.7 W) at high, reaching up to 97.6 lm/W. White light is offered at 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K in 82 CRI (optional 90 CRI). Dimming spans 0-10V, Lutron Hi-Lume Premier 0.1% EcoSystem with Soft-On and Fade to Black, and DMX. The luminaire mounts as an uplight or downlight via pendant/J-box, extended-arm J-box, extended-arm architectural, or ground-mount details, and drivers can sit up to 40 ft away. Rated IP66/IP67/IP68 (ETL and cETL for IP67, ANSI C136.31), with a -20 °C to 50 °C operating range, 60,000-hour L70 lumen maintenance, an optional ASTM B117 corrosion-resistant finish for coastal environments, and a 5-year limited warranty.
