Fortex is a family of distinctively and elegantly scaled architectural luminaires spanning wall, surface, and square/rectangular pendant forms, offered in sizes Fortex 1 through 6 with inward (direct), outward (indirect), and direct/indirect distributions. Crisp extruded-aluminum sides (3 3/4" x 1 1/2" on the wall/surface Fortex 1, 4 1/4" x 1 1/2" on the Fortex 4 pendant) are capped by a gently glowing optic that extends 0.5" beyond the housing, with mitered, fully luminous corners; Fortex coordinates with the Via 1.5 Plus linear platform. A single High-Efficiency Lambertian Optic (HLO) pairs matte-white side reflectors with 0.075" diffusing acrylic shielding of up to 88% transmission. Delivered output runs from 200 lm/ft (ultra-low) through 400, 500, and up to 750 lm/ft (high output on the larger pendants), with published efficacy up to 97 lm/W. The custom mid-flux LED array is cartridge-mounted with quick-connect wiring in 3000/3500/4000K (2700K also orderable), minimum 80 CRI with an optional 90 CRI and elevated R9, held within 3 SDCM; LM-80 testing shows L80 lumen maintenance greater than 60,000 hours. A factory-set, adjustable-output universal (120–277V) driver dims 100% to 1% via 0–10V, with Lutron Hi-lume 1% Eco and DALI options, and standard 0–10V drivers are NEMA 410 compliant. Wall and surface models install from a finish-matched drywall bracket; pendants suspend from a 5" square canopy on aircraft cables. Finishes are matte white or aluminum powder coat, with custom RAL available. ETL listed to UL 1598 and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0 for indoor dry/damp locations, backed by a five-year limited warranty.
