Edge 2 is Axis Lighting's 2½-inch square-aperture architectural linear platform, offered in pendant, surface, wall, and vertical mountings plus patterns and forms. The extruded-aluminum profile (0.075" nominal wall, up to 70% recycled content) joins with a nearly hair-thin connection system for continuous runs, configurable from 2 ft sections through 12 ft, with longer runs assembled on site as systems (S#). Performance runs 250 to 1100 lm/ft — 1000 lm/ft at 7 W/ft in 90° and 45° direct orientations and 1100 lm/ft at 7.7 W/ft as 45° indirect — with efficacy published up to 146 lm/W (per foot at 3500K, 80 CRI). An Ultra Blend lens diffuses the optic, with 80 or 90 CRI and 2700/3000/3500/4000K color temperatures held within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse. Dimming is 0–10V 1% integral as standard, with Lutron Hi-lume 1% EcoSystem, DALI, DMX, Xitanium SR wireless, and PoE (Molex / IGOR / SmartEngine) drivers available remote, at 120/277/347/UNV/DC. LED life is rated L85 at 50,000 hours, the fixture is UL listed and dry/damp rated for indoor use at 0–40 °C, and it carries a limited 5-year warranty.
