CRS Linear (CRS-LN) is the linear luminaire in aaline's Conference Room System, a Toronto-built toolkit for tuning meeting-room light and acoustics as one suspended assembly. It combines the LW-EB-CRS-LC continuous light engine with a modular acoustic baffle built from selectively harvested Canadian hardwood and 100% natural felt, so a run can be specified for coverage, felt depth, and Noise Reduction Coefficient — standard NRC 0.4 (Class-A fire-rated felt) up to NRC 1.0 with additional fibre panels, in 1-1/2", 4", and 6" felt depths. The LW-EB engine uses 90 CRI LED chips and publishes lumen output per foot in three steps: LO 650 lm/ft (6.2 W/ft), ST 1000 lm/ft (9.5 W/ft), and HI 1514 lm/ft (14.4 W/ft), all at 105 lm/W direct, with a matching indirect option (up to ~1691 lm/ft, where indirect is one-third of the direct lm/ft) and a PET-film diffuser. Direct optics range from Lambertian through Oval, Wide, Extra Wide, and Asymmetric; indirect adds Batwing Wide and Batwing Extra Wide. CCT is offered at 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K, including dynamic white, and an Anti-Glare cell upgrade drops glare to UGR<16 (from a standard UGR<25) for WELL- and LEED-oriented projects. The system runs on 110–277V AC at roughly 10 W/ft, is suspended on adjustable cable (5' standard, on-site adjustable) with the driver integrated above the acoustic panels, and dims via 0-10V, TRIAC/ELV, DALI, or Lutron EcoSystem. Finishes span six wood species (Walnut, White Oak, Cherry, Hard Maple, White Ash, Engineered Wood) with satin, Danish-oil, zero-VOC, or painted clear coats, optional FENIX NTM faces, and 100% natural acoustic felt in 40+ colours. Rated for dry or damp locations and backed by a 5-year warranty with a material reclamation program; final dimensions and material selections are confirmed at shop-drawing stage.
