Nubez Dropped Trimless (NUB-RD) is the trimless dropped recessed member of Picasso Lighting's Nubez stretch-fabric series, creating a skylight-like luminous ceiling by stretching dual layers of clear and opal-white flexible membrane over a die-formed 20-gauge steel troffer housing with welded, ground corners and no light leaks; the opal-white layer faces the room and ceiling thickness is unrestricted. A single ordering sheet covers 2x2 through 8x8 squares plus 2x4, 3x4, 4x5, 5x6, 6x8, 5x10, and 8x12 (96 by 144 in) rectangles, installed trimless in 9/16 in slot grid or 9/16 in and 15/16 in T-bar ceilings. Output is specified per square foot in 250, 375, 500, and 625 lm/sq ft packages, with the published quick-reference table listing 9,000 to 22,500 total lumens (250 to 625 lm/sq ft) at 90 lm/W at 3000K, in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K at 80+ or 90+ CRI (3 SDCM), with tunable white 2700-5000K selectable and custom lumens available. Drivers are UL-recognized, universal 110-277 VAC with 0-10V 1% dimming standard; non-dim, Lutron EcoSystem 1%, and custom controls are selectable, with PoE, DALI, and DMX available on request, plus options for Lutron Athena wireless nodes, emergency battery backup, an occupancy sensor, a 6 ft whip, and an NRC-0.55 acoustical membrane. The standard powder-coat finish is white, with special applications by factory consultation, and the wider Nubez series is also offered flush-trim recessed, surface-mounted, and pendant-mounted. Fixtures are IBEW manufactured and assembled in the USA with a BABAA-compliant ordering option, UL listed for dry and damp locations, rated for 50,000-hour LED life, and covered by a limited five-year warranty.
